What to verify in the recovered profile
- Your name, email, phone number, and location appear in the right fields.
- Every role keeps the correct employer, title, dates, and bullet points.
- Education, certificates, licences, courses, and awards are present.
- Skills remain readable and are not mixed into unrelated sections.
What this check cannot prove
ApplyArc cannot reproduce an employer's private Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo, or BambooHR configuration. It does not return a score for any of those systems.
The recovered profile is not a full visual audit of the original fonts, graphics, columns, or tables. It also cannot predict ranking, rejection, or a hiring decision.
If the parser loses something, fix the source
No magic percentage. No universal pass mark. Use the visible mismatch as the test.
1. Compare, do not guess
Read the recovered profile beside your original file. Treat missing, duplicated, or reordered content as a real warning.
2. Simplify the source
Move essential details into the document body. Use clear section headings and a reading order that still makes sense when copied as text.
3. Export a fresh copy
Save a new PDF or DOCX from your editor rather than uploading a scan or screenshot. Follow the vacancy's required file type.
4. Upload again
Check the recovered fields a second time. Apply only when the information you rely on is present and in the right section.
Supported files and the right fallback
Upload PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, JPEG, PNG files up to 10 MB. Plain text is the quickest fallback, but it contains no visual layout. A fresh PDF or DOCX gives you a better end-to-end check.
